Championing Local Creativity: Culture Collab is Proud to Co-Sponsor the 2025 M16 Drawing Prize
I’m thrilled to share that Culture Collab is partnering with M16 Artspace as a co-sponsor of the Main Prize for the 2025 M16 Drawing Prize.
Partnering with M16 is a great fit. Our values are aligned and I admire the support M16 provides to local artists. M16’s commitment to accessibility, experimentation, and community makes them one of Canberra’s true cultural gems.
For nearly two decades, the M16 Drawing Prize has celebrated artistic innovation and given artists a national platform to showcase their ideas and encouraged bold voices, new perspectives, and experimentation.
By supporting this prize, I’m helping M16 continue its mission:
Opening doors for artists with access to studios.
Delivering exhibitions that challenge and inspire audiences.
Creating real opportunities for artists to thrive professionally.
Culture Collab is all about helping cultural institutions grow stronger, more resilient, and more creative. Supporting this prize is an extension of that work. It’s about investing in the creative people who make culture.
Over the past 19 years, the Drawing Prize has grown into one of Canberra’s key arts events, attracting hundreds of entries from across Australia and internationally. I’m very much looking forward to seeing the range of works submitted this year.
If you’re an artist you should absolutely consider entering. Prizes like this can help get your work and your voice out there. Entries close Sunday October 12.
